Graphic Design is about communication..
We can use verbal communication to communicate with the others; internet, screen and graphic can also tell the messages.
Graphic Design use image and text to communicate with the audience.
Example?
Poster, letter, business logo, magazine, computer print out are all examples of graphic design.

What is graphic design?
Graphic design are about communication, it is about communicate through combination of image and pictures. As a graphic designer, we must understand the material to communicate and don't produce a monolog； a graphic design must have a dialog, and the message must be clear. A fail graphic design doesn't communicate well, means that the actual message to be send are not clear or sent in a wrong way, this is called communication break down.
A graphic designer work with drawing, painting, illustration, letterform, computer generated graphic, TV ads, books, newspaper.......................
To be a good graphic designer....
You must create attention (A), interest(I), desire(D), and action(A).
You must study all the rules! in order to create more amazing design..( must understand all the rules before break any rules)
You must be good in arrangement, solutionist and have creative vision.
Summary: Graphic design is informs, persuades, organizes, stimulates,locates, identities, attracts attention, provide pleasure.
