The purpose of the graphic design is to communicate. Graphic design is a type of visual communication. It used visual as a medium to communicate idea , message and information with other people. A graphic designer is different with an artist where artist can work just to fulfill the selfsatisfaction where as graphic designer work to show and communicate something with people.
Graphic designer communicate with people through image, text and decoration. With the combination of this 3 element , ton of form is found to be used by graphic designer to communicate with people. It can be in form of drawing, painting, illustration, photograph or even just typeface.
To be an excellent graphic designer, we need to make our work clear. It can be done by suitable dialog. Beside than that, we also need to understand the rule before we gong to break it. It mean that we need to study and understand the theory and rule before we create our work.
Graphic design is not only limited for the creative people or artistic people. Graphic design is part of the diary life. Everyone can be a graphic designer. As long as we good in arranging stuff and make it beautiful, always look for solution for problem faced, willing to view thing in vary angle, we can be a good graphic designer.
